Ray Smith
One of our own, Ray Smith was recognized at the 2011 TU National Meeting in Bend, OR. Ray Smith’s dedication to TU dates back over 30 years and can be best captured by the words leadership, dedication and respect. Smith is one of the charter members and past president of Arkansas Chapter #514, the first chapter to be recognized in the state. He has served on the National Board of Trustees, the NLC, and as chairman of the Arkansas Council. His dedication to conservation can be seen throughout northwest Arkansas and his counsel has helped expand TU in Arkansas from one chapter to three active chapters with well over 1,000 members.
