The TU Chapter 514’s Project Steering Committee would like to express our sincere thanks to 22 volunteers who stepped up and pitched in to complete the Habitat Improvement Project.
Everyone who signed up to volunteer showed up and pitched in wherever needed to get the job done. We really appreciate all of you, and how about that gourmet lunch provided by Michael Wingo and his sidekick Larry Lilley? Thanks guys, it was above and beyond!
The next phase of the project will be the initial planting of Bonneville Cutthroat Trout eggs into the Beaver tailwaters of the White River. Planting will take place in June 13. We will be planting 30,000 cutthroat eggs using Whitlock-Vibert incubation boxes, and expect to repeat this project annually for the next five years. Stay tuned for further updates.
Again, we sincerely appreciate what you do to support Arkansas Chapter 514 of Trout Unlimited.
